· How much time does the abortion process take?

Abortion is a very simple procedure and the operation can take anywhere between 10-20 minutes depending on the gestation period.

· How long do I have to stay at the clinic after the abortion?

The entire stay at the clinic is for 3-4 hours. This time period includes Doctor's examination, Operation and Recovery.

· What all can I eat before and after abortion?

We would advise you to come empty stomach - no food or drink after 10 p.m. previous night or at least six hours before coming to the clinic. After abortion you can eat your normal diet.

· Is the abortion procedure, followed by you, legal?

Abortions performed at our clinics are legal as per the MTP Act of Government of India. All the services at our clinics are delivered in accordance with the guidelines stipulated by the Government and our clinics are registered with the respective State Governments.

· How much does it cost to have an abortion done?

We offer our clients quality services at affordable and fixed prices. However, we can let you know the cost involved after you tell us the exact gestation (weeks) of the foetus.

· Is abortion of single or unmarried women legal in India?

It is perfectly legal for unmarried women to have abortions, if they are willing. But the abortion should not be gender related and the foetus must not be above a period of 20 weeks. Also if the woman is below 18 years, she has to secure a written consent of her guardian.

· What is the level of secrecy you maintain while dealing with your clients?

Secrecy is of utmost importance to us. Like most other clinical procedures, we keep all information regarding abortions highly classified and confidential.

· Is abortion legal if the woman is below 18 years?

Yes, abortion is legal for women below 18 years but not without the consent, in writing, of her guardian.

· When do I have to come for check-up after the abortion procedure?

You need to come for check-up after two weeks and as soon as possible if there are any problems e.g. pain, bleeding, fever or irregular period.

· Are repeated abortions harmful?

Yes, repeated abortions are harmful. We would advise you to adopt a family planning method like contraceptive oral pills, IUD's or Injectables.

· How long should I wait to resume sexual activity after having an Abortion?

You can resume sexual activity seven days after the abortion with contraception.

· How long do I need to rest after the abortion?

You just need to rest for one day and can resume your normal routine thereafter.

· What pre-procedure guideline do I need to follow?

We advise our clients to come empty stomach- no food or drink after 10 p.m. previous night or at least six hours before coming to the clinic. After abortion you can eat your normal diet. Also you must have a bath and must clean the genital area before coming for abortion.

· When should abortion be done?

The MTP Act allows termination upto twenty weeks of pregnancy. Nevertheless, pregnancy should be terminated as soon as possible.

· Can abortion and sterilisation take place hand in hand?

Yes, sterilisation can be done along with the abortion of 12 weeks or less.

· How much time does the male Sterilisation process take?

Male Sterilisation (vasectomy) is a simple process and can be performed in 5-10 minutes time.

· Will I lose my sexual potency after getting Sterilised?

It is absolutely false that a person loses his sexual potency after getting sterilised. Instead you can enjoy your sexual life more since you don't have to fear about an unwanted pregnancy.

· What is the total cost involved in getting vasectomy done?

We offer our clients quality services at affordable and fixed prices. The price may range between 300-600 Rupees.

· Do I have to book in advance for getting vasectomy done?

Yes, you would have to book a day or two in advance.
