Men as partners have been sounded off very often and now reproductive health is no longer only “women’s affair”. Men have two roles to play – that of a supportive partner and as a responsible partner.

- increase the positive participation and involvement of men in their spouse’s antenatal, post partum care, family planning and other reproductive health issues.
- Men’s issues on reproductive health needed to be addressed through quality services.
- To dispel myths, remove inhibitions, fallacies and encourage them to accept male counseling and medical treatment by qualified and trained professionals,
- Prevention from RTI/STD to check the frequent incidence of RTI/STD in an individual through the process of partner treatment and screening.
