 With support from Kfw Germany and the Government of India an innovative pilot   is being carried out in two states that of West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh to expand reproductive health choices as part of the social marketing initiative. This private- public partnership involving private sector doctors, uses franchise techniques/ strategies’ to dispense  Injectable contraceptives at exclusive “ Blue Star Centres in the districts. Acceptance levels of this method has been very encouraging.
