 Youth was another component that had to be tapped as teen and adolescent pregnancies began to be noticed. The Education and Training unit was brought in to create an awareness and educate the youth on the consequences of un protected sex, protect themselves against any infection, health and hygiene, anaemia,

Today all our efforts have borne fruit. Our latest initiative Aadhar project in Jaipur slums provides youth friendly services in reproductive health services, packaged with a constellation of other much needed skills.

 Anaemia another most common yet easily tackled issues was most prevalent amongst the children. Parivar Seva along with support from the Government of Delhi and UNICEF launched the social marketing of Iron and Folic Acid using community intervention in peri-urban areas of Delhi. The project using our newly developed product ‘Iron Plus” was a huge success..
