Family Planning Services

 High child mortality rates made the adoption of family planning services un favourable. Therefore immunization and treatment of child hood diseases were prioritized and well before the ICPD in 1994, Parivar Seva brought in the integration of other RH services: antenatal post natal care, safe delivery in selected clinics and RTI/STI management.

 Parivar Seva clinics reached out to the community and facilitated their adoption of birth control practices. Innovative approaches were evolved to help spread the knowledge and practice of contraception. Distribution of contraceptives at the doorsteps was also steeped up.
